Quilting is serious business and anyone who doesn't think so has never had an inside glimpse into the people who are passionate about it.
That's why
Miles of Stitches in Merrill recently expanded to a new location at 123 North Midland Road. There, the company offers everything a quilter will need to work on their projects, ranging from a huge supply and selection of batiks and backing fabrics in the new 4,000-square-foot location. An impressive 2,000 square feet is dedicated to fabric, notion and pattern selections.
Additionally, there will be classes at the Miles of Stitches location, which is one of the main reasons the company made the move to the larger building.
"One of the reasons for this move was to be able to offer more room for classes," says owner Liat Honsinger-Marlow. "Our customers love that we have almost 2,000 square feet of space devoted to ironing and cutting stations."
Miles of Stitches carries fabric collections from Hoffman, Robert Kaufman, Moda, RJR, and Wilmington. In addition they also carry a large number of brights, children’s, complete fabric collections and civil war fabrics.
Store hours are Monday thru Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
