Ed Keating will be a new senior VP in the business lending department of
1st State Bank, according to an announcement from the bank.
Keating brings a career's worth of experience in business lending to the role, and will be responsible for working with business owners throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.
He is an Essexville resident and Northwood University graduate who also studied at Central Michigan University.
Keating is very active in the community; his other roles include the vice chair of McLaren Bay Medical Foundation; past president and current member of Rotary Club of Bay City; vice chair of the Pillars Club of United Way of Bay County; and board member for Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, the Village of Hampton Meadows, and Saginaw Valley Torch Club.
