Saginaw teenager makes hundreds of blankets for kids in need

Nothing's better when you're feeling down or sick than a warm, cuddly blanket and a helping hand--both of which are being provided to children in need by a 14-year-old from Saginaw.
 
Excerpt: A love for the Charlie Brown movies and a desire to help the community led 14-year-old Bryanna Maturen to create hundreds of blankets for children in need.
 
The Saginaw teen was searching for community service opportunities when she found Project Linus, an organization that provides blankets for children who are in hospitals, seriously ill or traumatized.
