Dow Chemical expects more growth after billion dollar 2Q

Things definitely must be working in Dow Chemical's favor these days. Not only did they announce a staggering profit in the second quarter of this year, but the company seems to think there is only room for growth.

Excerpt: Dow Chemical Co. saw profits increase more than 63 percent to about $1 billion for the second quarter. The Midland-based company attributed the increase to higher sales and prices.

Dow's second quarter results released Wednesday beat Wall Street's predictions for revenue and earnings.
